Maja Design’s gorgeous "Vintage Summer Basics" papers, imported from Sweden are used in the making of this book.
Each base page is made of quality white Bazzill card stock. The page hinges and cover hinges are reinforced, and will stand up to a lot of use. It has 6 pages not including the front and back covers. I counted a conservative 50 places to put photos. There are places for uncropped 4x6 and 5x7 as well as smaller cropped photo's. There are also tags for journaling. The spine is covered with lace pearls and a spot for a title.
The cover is decorated with fabric rosettes, a chipboard die cut dress form that I covered with paper and inked. A chipboard clock die cut that I painted and inked. Pearl trim and flower lace trim. There is also a spot to add your own specifics about the album, a note, date, or favorite quote.
The inner pages have mulberry flowers, vintage printed images I made in Photo shop, and images from the paper collection, lace, seam binding, ribbon, and card stock die cuts.
The edges are inked for a time worn look.
Pull out booklets, Pull out double sided photo mats, and a waterfall wallet, make this an interactive photo album.
Photos will slide easily behind the embellishments.
I use quality photo safe materials. If I am in doubt about the acidity of something I want to use I test it to make sure it is safe before I use it. It takes days for me to put together an album and I strive for them to last and showcase photos for many generations to enjoy.
